Help me settle an argument: how do you pronounce the word 'frappe'?

I've always pronounced it as 'frap' but today my friend is insisting it's pronounced 'frap-aye'. What do you guys think?

It's actually frappé but when ordering most people shorten it to "frap" which is why you hear it so much. Same thing just cutting corners

Googled it haha. 
Frappé is pronounced fruh-pay, if it's a frozen, fruity, sherbet-like thing, or a liqueur poured over shaved ice. If it's a milkshake thing, it's frappe (note the absence of the accent mark). And then it rhymes with clap.

I don't drink Starbucks much so I don't know what they call theirs. A frappucino or whatever.

But at McDonald's it's a frappé.
