CALLING ALL LDR LADIES

Alright so me and my boyfriend have been LDR for almost half a year and we live in the same time zones so we talk from whenever we are out of school until we go to bed. Recently things have had a huge switch, normally we would FaceTime and then text when it got too late and now we rarely FaceTime and I'll get the occasional snap or text from him. And now he is on a school trip in Germany and so the whole time change is just a mess. Whenever I send him an "I love you" text or something he just won't respond or will send me something completely random back like a picture of the floor or a text saying "love you too". For me it's a really big difference between him saying "I love you" and just "love you". I just feel like I've done something wrong or I'm not good enough for him to want to talk to me. It seems whenever situations happen like this I'm always blaming myself for it. What do you all think of the situation? Is there anything I can do to help fix it?
