How and why?

Question

So I'm curious, for those of you who have a significant other of any kind (husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc.): how did you all meet? And what attracted you to each other?

Okay, so this is a long story....my now husband and I have known each other all our lives but not really KNOWN each other, like we've seen each other at church and camps and stuff.(very religious families)! So I was 16 he was 19 and my family and our friends from Kentucky who were also friends with my husband, decided to go on vacation to Florida (My parents knew him basically since he was born)! And so a couple of weeks before we went my dad started joking me about getting a moonlight walk on the beach with him..and I was like no way that's gonna happen I have never liked him and never will. I was set on a guy that I had liked since I was about born! 😂 and come to find out later on that the friends that my husband was friends with also had been joking him about it! So basically they all had this planned out and It was gonna work! But we were both against it! so then we went to Florida and he tried to talk to me a few times and be friendly but I am a shy person so I wouldn't say much! (My dad told him to just keep trying I'll eventually open up)! So he did! One day he sat on a bench beside me at the boardwalk, and locked me and my cousin outside and the only way to get in was to hug him for 10 seconds! (He patted my cousin and let her go, and then it got to me and I got both arms! 😂) so we kind of knew he liked me! And we spent 5 nights there and then headed to Tennessee. We got to tn at a stoplight and he was in the car behind me, he got out came up to my window and hit it and scared me to death!!! But he said that was the only way he could think of to text me because our friends put us in a group message and I wouldn't reply back cause I was shy! And so we started texting and a lot of things i left out of the story because it would defiantly too long but we started talking 7-3-15,he asked me out on 7-18-15 and told me he loved me 9-23-15 ,asked me to marry him on 6-27-16,and we got married on 11-05-16!

We met and started dating our freshman year of high school. We had assigned seats next to each other in computer class! We were complete opposites but we instantly clicked and became best friends. We didn't start actually dating until 6 months into our friendship. We've been together for 8 years now and married for 4. 😊

My boyfriend and I met me sophomore ear of high school, and his junior year. I was actually with someone else, and I went to church with my then boyfriend and his parents on Christmas Eve. Well, my current bf sat behind us with his parents and his brother. So we did the whole "stand up and shake hands with the people around you and wish them a merry Christmas" thing. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him as this was happening. Not long after, he sent me a request on fb and I didn't think anything of it so I accepted. My boyfriend and I went off the deep end and ended things pretty badly. Well, my current bf messaged me and we talked for a little while, dated for maybe 2 months, then broke up. About 2 and a half years later he texted me out of the blue (it wasn't a bad breakup and we stayed friends). Here we are, 15 months later and I'm even more in love with him then I ever thought I would be! ❤

My boyfriend and I met in one of my classes. Super cheesy but I was instantly attracted to him and he the same to me. He was so kind and shy I found him to be so adorable. A little under seven months now and I couldn't be happier
