The Boston Globe says no, he still broke the rules and they legally pulled his contract two years ago, and its done with. However because he played 3 seasons his family MAY be able to have access to his NFL pension (2Mil or so). They're trying to hold the funds and it most likely will not happen but his lawyer is pushing for it

But they released him of his contract when he was arrested for murder.. idk if shes entitled to that money. Either way, its a convient loophole.
