so... my boyfriend kicked my dog...
We were at a ranch and my puppy was in a fight with a bigger dog. He separated them and after doing so he kicked my pup not once but twice, very unnecessary since the dogs were separated already. I was on the verge of hitting him myself, but I contained myself. Packed my things and left, then I came back and talked things through with him and eventually made up.
However, I'm worried. It was totally uncalled for, and he agreed he was so frustrated by my puppy's misbehaviour that he couldn't help it. We have the best relationship ever, I lo e him very much but I'm scared he'll turn violent on my dogs again, or on me! And she's just a pup!
I had one violent relationship before, and it went from small stuff until we almost punch each other. I'm scared this will escalate... I'm lost, I'm hurt, I'm so angry. My pets are my life, I live with seven rescued cats and two rescued dogs, and I don't want neither to get hurt again!
