Perfect nurseries

Hi all. So, I've never been one for decorating much or really had an eye for making anything look beautiful. My house is pretty plain and I don't mind it like that. Does/did everyone here create a perfect little nursery that is matchy and color coordinated with tchotchkes everywhere and looks like a page out of a pottery barn catalog? Is this necessary? I'm not totally against it I just have no desire really to do it, and I wonder if anyone out there just has a pretty practical looking nursery? Thanks for reading 💙
