I'm finally back in school...should I keep going or get my GED?

I have a lot of credits to make up. About. 166.... u.u should I just get a GED? Or should I stick it out and do my credits? Im 18 years old.

Well, I think it depends on whether you plan on attending college or not. If you plan on attending college, just get the GED first. If you're not going to do college, make up the credits. Most enployers want to see either a college degree or an honest high school diploma.

If you get the GED, you won't be able to apply to some colleges. It's much better in the long run to stick it out and do the extra work.

If you plan on going to college my dad told me it looks a lot better to finish high school even if it's kind of late because they can see you actually went through with something that takes time so basically they'll see you have commitment and some colleges will allow you to go there with a GED but you won't have as wide of a choice because most want you to have actually graduated high school.

Do you have to pay to get your GED? Which one would you be able to complete the quickest?
I would base your decision by the answers to those questions I think. 
If you have to pay for a ged but would  be able to finish high school without paying I would probably choose high school. 
Also isn't getting your GED more like you have to self modivate and teach yourself everything and then take a test? Personally I'm bad at self-motivating so if no one gives me a set schedule to get work done I'll never get it done. For me the better choice would definitely be high school for that reason
