Spelling of boys name?

We originally fell in love with Rowen for a little boy. But after reading up on it, Rowen is typically used as a feminine version when used as a girls name, Rowan is the masculine version typically used for a boy.... And DH spouted off with Roewan just to be unique I guess.... So which would you associate with a male name?

The "w" looks feminine to me. I would spell it Rohan it's pronounced the same.

I think either version, Rowan or Rowen would be fine. My friends daughter is Rowan. It's one that can surely be unisex.

Well if you spelled it like that it would probably be pronounced a lot different than its intent.
