selling broken off engagement ring

Ladies I'm hoping someone has some tips for me. I ended an engagement due to an abusive turn and he told me to keep the ring. I'm wondering if anyone has tips on how to sell it? It's full of bad memories and the sooner I can get rid or it the better. It was $1,400 at purchase while on sale. I know I won't get anywhere near that much back, but I don't want a huge low ball either. Craigslist? Ebay? Facebook sale page? Pawn shop? Help!
