Should I be pissed??

Question

So long story I am a full time babysitter and currently pregnant. I watch two toddlers one infant, today I came over because the mom had a birthday party to go to with her daughter for one of her friends from her preschool. We'll I get there and she's telling me how they are all sick and have been puking even the infant and not only that the baby has a horrible cough. I don't think it's right that I have to come here why'll she gets to sleep all day and not take care of her sick babies. And I'm pregnant and have to be around it which I don't think is very safe!!! And I'm livid and not only that if I was puking and getting sick I would have to come to work no matter what. 
Please no rude comments just needed to get it off my chest and is love to hear feedback am I wrong?

If your pregnant she should know not to ask you. It's one thing if you weren't pregnant but she knows you are. That's selfish an puts you n your baby at risk. I'd be pissed too

It's your job to care for children is it not? Look at it from the ill moms POV. Maybe she was up ALL night with THREE sick kids and needs to recouperate before she had another LONG night.

You should be pissed. I dont have a problem with her choosing to sleep while you watch her sick kids, she is probably exhausted because she has been taking care of them. But if she knew you were preggars, she should have known better then let you come over.  You need to talk to her.

As much as the mom seems to be crappy, if she paying you to babysit, then do your job. If I wanted to hire a babysitter to watch my kids while I watch he'd TV that's my business. Talk to her about though about not watching the kids again when there sick. If you hadn't thought about being pregnant and babysitting sick kids before this let her know you don't want to. That's her problem then.

If taking care of sick children is part of your job description than that's what you have to do. But if you're not comfortable with taking care of them while they're sick let her know! Communication is key. I'm a nanny and I've had to watch children while I was sick or when they were sick. Most of the time I get sick because of them! But it's part of my job duties.

I agree that you should be upset. I would be. She should keep in mind not everyone wants to share in her sickness. Smh o hope everything works out ok and you don't get sick

Hmm I dunno. I am a full time nanny and pregnant as well, it is expected of me to come to work no matter what- whether I am sick or the kids are. The parents have very demanding jobs and can't miss work. I understand these are a little bit different circumstances but I am paid very well and that's because I can be relied on no matter what... When they are sick it's my job to care for them. This is your job. So I say get over it! Wash hands a lot and hope for the best ;)
