What do/ have you ladies pack in your hospital bags? For baby and yourself.

Trying to pack this weekend as I'm 37 weeks.

Pack a couple changes of comfy clothes for yourself, don't worry about undies because the hospital will provide mesh ones and pads for you.

Bring toothbrush, hair brush, conditioner shampoo hair elastics etc.

For baby, bring an outfit to bring them home in, one in newborn size and an outfit in 0-3, just in case. IThe hospital provides a onesie with the bottom cut off so it's just a shirt, and they'll keep changing them if your baby spits up or whatever. Some people dress them in real clothes every day, but then you just end up with a ton of laundry (IMO) so I'd just use what the hospital provides until you go home. Also if it's cold, bring a bunting or blanket for the car ride home.

My hospital didn't provide pacifiers, so bring one if you want.

If you're formula feeding or need to supplement before milk comes in, bring one bottle. The hospital may provide one, but your baby may not like it or may get used to the brand the hospital has. Hospitals usually give you infant formula too, either enfamil or similac.

Steal all the diapers, wipes, mesh undies, pads, the spray bottle to clean your vagina after peeing, anything useful that you can from your room. Anything that's not nailed down.

Check with your hospital and see what they provide first! 
Ours provides nothing for baby but an ugly hat, a few diapers and a scratchy blanket. We didn't know any of this until I was 36 weeks and had been doing classes at the hospital for weeks prior! I'm bringing a few simple onesies and 2 cotton blankets for baby to wrap or cover while I bf. I also threw in a few diapers, wipes, socks, mittens and hats because I chose to. I threw in a pretty swaddle to take a few pictures in and a going home onesie as well.

For my bag I packed my toiletry bag, extra chargers, a comfy pair of stretchy shorts, 2 big tshirts, a cami, a few pairs of socks, a stretchy pair of pj bottoms, a button shirt for going home in and leggings. I threw flip flops for showering and a small blanket from home too. For hubby I threw a change of clothes, his toiletries and extra socks in his old gym sack along with a baggie of healthy snacks for us for when the cafeteria is closed.

The hospital provides everything for baby, I packed a charger, clothes, blanket, pillow, book, several other things. I literally only used my charger, blanket and pillow and the clothes and not even all of them.

My hospital didn't provide anything so my bag had:
Pads, body wash, hair ties, lip balm.
Drinks and snacks for labor.
Labour clothes: a light silk gown and comfortable underwear.
Pajamas for that night
'Going home outfit': Sweat pants + singlet.
4 nursing bras, 4 pairs of cheap underwear.
Baby bag:
Nappies, wipes.
4 long sleeve suits
4 short sleeve suits
4 under suits/ singlets.
4 pairs of socks.
4 Muslim wraps.
4 thin wrap blankets.
4 hats.

I also took my camera, chargers, boppy and my own pillow and blanket.
