My husband and I were not trying for our third child. I took out my Mirena because it messed with me emotionally and made me crazy. I had one cycle and so we were just waiting to see if my cycles would regulate before going on the mini pill. I thought I ovulated around the end of March and so my husband and I thought we were in the "safe zone" I started having cramps for three days in a row and I thought it was my period coming so my hubby and I didn't use protection. Turns out that was ovulation pain and so the whole time I kept taking HPT's I thought Aunt Flo was coming! After we were 'together' I took both a HPT and an opk and the opk was POSITIVE!!! We didn't do it anymore that week! I kept watch to see if I did indeed O and yes I did! I got my positive hpt at 8dpo!!! I am so excited and shocked!!!
