31 weeks ... is it safe to sit in a recliner??

I've never heard it was bad until recently.. every time I sit slightly leaned back I feel her move a lot!! So I'm wondering if I'm hurting her... I don't lean it back just let the leg rest up

Where did you hear that it is bad? That's not true. It's perfectly fine.

My doctor did tell my husband and I that sitting on a recliner was the worst position to help the baby get in position. Won't hurt baby just won't help baby get in the correct position for labor. Not to say baby won't.

Babies move more when you are relaxed. I'm pregnant with twins and often sleep in my recliner!!!

Of course you aren't hurting baby.  It's recommended to keep your feet elevated to reduce swelling

I purposely sit back in a recliner when I know baby is going to start kicking so I can feel him better. You're not hurting the baby you're just at an incline that allows you to feel more kicks.

I can't even sit up without being uncomfortable and feeling like I'm squishing my daughter lol
