Is anyone really nervous to tell people?

So I'm 12 weeks today and told my husband he can start telling people at 12 weeks as long as everything looks good. It does! But I am so so so so nervous to tell any of my friends. And my boss. Really a lot nervous to tell my boss. Anyone else feeling that way? Any words of encouragement ?

I'm not nervous I just find it uncomfortable to tell people, especially coworkers. I'm not one to want to be the center of attention so I think that's why.

Other than our parents, we waited until 12.5 weeks to start telling people. Even at almost 14 weeks now, I still haven't told everyone and am constantly nervous. I told my husband last night that I'll be worrying about our baby until the day I die haha.

I think you should relax and just be happy to tell people. This is a great time in your life and spreading the joy is something you deserve to do.

I'm nervous to tell everyone.  My best friend has been trying for 3 years and I know she won't be upset or anything and she really will be happy for me, but I know deep down it will make her sad 😔.  Also my fatherinlaw can't seem to keep up with the grandkids being born and keeps telling us to slow down for him, even though this only our second child, our first will be 3 this year.  So not looking forward to that one either.  And this will be my parents 20th grandchild so it's like old news for them :/ I'll be 10 weeks and haven't told a soul even though I couldn't be more excited!

I haven't told any at work yet.... I am a graphic designer and my pregnancy doesn't interfere with work very much ...I  think there's still plenty of time to give work notice at this time, so I'm thinking to just ride with it until it's noticible 🏀😅

I am super nervous about telling people too! I've only told 3 ladies that are in my misscarrige group. I haven't even told my best friend or my mom. Who would both be over the moon about not to mention my dad. My in laws would be like "ok" and that's all they would say. It's not that anyone would be upset in my family it's just having two losses makes me so worried something will go wrong even though I've had 3 appointments and 2 ultrasounds and one heartbeat on the Doppler. I still can't shake the nervousness of telling people. I did tell my so called boss( I'm a volunteer) and she was over the moon about it.

We told our parents and siblings when we first found out cuz we were so excited and knew they would be there if anything happened. I am nervous to spread the news on a bigger scale because part of me is really scared something is going to go wrong. I am over the moon about this little one, but it still doesn't feel that real despite all the crazy symptoms and seeing a us with heartbeat and baby wiggles...

I'm extremely nervous to tell my coworkers. My boss knows but I have no idea why but I can't seem to find the right time or courage to just say it to the rest of the office. I wish I was better in these situations but I do know that my hesitation is mostly because I'm very shy about getting attention and compliments and that I'm also the quietest person in my office. Anyone who can give me some ideas to go about it would be great! Thanks!!!
