Baby's room...when to start?!?

I have started to work on my baby girls room.  With summer approaching and our family travels a lot, I thought it would be best not to wait until the last minute.  I get mixed reactions from people, some think it's to early and I'm crazy that I might jinx the pregnancy. I am 17 weeks pregnant. What are you opinions?? Have any of you started your nursery?

I had a miscarriage before my current pregnancy. Because of the emotion pain it caused me I found myself having a hard time getting excited about the baby we are expecting. Working on the nursery (starting at 10 weeks) actually helped me to get past the grief of that lose and get excited for our baby due this October. 
I think when it comes to preparation it's never too early and it really depends on the needs of the parents to be.

Us too! We are slowly starting to work on our nursery. We cleaned it out and will get the first furniture later on this week. Then eventually we will color the walls and take care of the rest. We are traveling a lot too, so we preferred to do little bit at the time and not leave it till the last minute with summer being in middle and all i think its not a bad idea to start to work on the baby room. I am currently 17+3 weeks pregnant. Bottom line, it is important that you do what makes you happy.  Good luck 💪🏼

Mine has been mostly finished (the big stuff anyway) for a while now 😅 we've been TTC for over a year and it helped me to slowly build the nursery piece by piece...idk I know everyone is different but all I'm doing now is adding the finishing touches at 14 weeks pregnant 👶🏻💙

I'm 15+3 and I'm almost done clearing out the room. I'm debating on paint colors right now and whether I should wait to pick after the gender is known or not. Otherwise I was thinking a neutral color. After that I will be buying the crib, dresser, and maybe a glider and be done until after the baby shower.

I started working on things for nursery. I'm 13 weeks today. I like to take my time and try to be creative. Do what you feel is best. Ignore people who want to ruin everything for everyone else.

I've started! We don't have a whole room to work with...just a portion of the master bedroom...but I'm picking up the bassinet tomorrow :) I'm 14 weeks today👍🏻

We just finished the floors in there and we are starting the registry as a list of things we want! So planning/research has started! Buying will wait a little bit more! I'm thinking after 20 weeks!

I'm having twins so I'm getting as much done as possible now. Paint is done and working on furniture now. Already have cribs etc but I'm redoing some stuff. Also have a pile of decor ready to be put up once I know how things will be laid out. It's kind of a slow process because I work full time and I'm exhausted lol. But 14 weeks today and my goal is to have it done by my shower in July 😊 have fun!!!!

Always have to stay positive about your pregnancy! I think it's fine to start now. I started buying things when I first found out and plan to start my nursery once I find out the gender 😊😊
