Do you have seasonal depression during the winter??

I'm beginning to think that my boyfriend is going through this and it's affecting me A LOT.  Anyone know of anything that helps deal with this?  We live in the Midwest and it is COLD.  Thanks.

I have it all year but i have noticed it does get a bit worse during winter 😊

I live in Chicago, it happens. He should take 1,000-2,000 IU of vitamin D, and try to encourage him to go outside for 10-15 min a day. Maybe you guys should go on walks together? Yeah, I know, it's cold, but don't be a baby, go outside!

I get depressed in the winter because it's constantly wet and cold.

I get depressed in the summer because people constantly pester you to get out of the house and expect you to do stuff.

This is why I only like summer nights or rainy days.

I get VERY depressed during winter. My counseling is fishing, mushroom hunting, looking in corn fields for native american artifacts, rather then going to an actual therapist. The out doors soothe me. Blue skys and warmth is the best thing in my opinion. Even spring storms sooth me. And this white shit all over the damn ground pisses me off. Lol

I think I have it all the time but not sure, it's probably just my pathetic life hahahah. But I do know that sounds like manic-depressive or what's the other word that replaced it I forgot sorry... My cousins have it. Not sure which pill but they have something for it I'm sure. Oh and I agree with the vitamin d plus doc said to get an hour of sun every day but it has to be in the MORNING--I forgot why but apparently it's the best time to get sum.
