Any tips for a couponing novice?

Hello! Anyone have any tips for couponing? I don't want to go all "extreme coupon lady" but I do want to get better at saving money. Where do you get your coupons? We don't get a daily newspaper so I don't even know where to start. Are they even in the newspaper anymore? Thanks in advance! ☺️

Also download Snap by groupon! You get money back for buying items, you can use coupons with them as well. I find a lot of the things on snap have coupons out at the same time. I got a bottle of shampoo and conditioner for only 50 cents that way. It was great. Plus there's a lot of everyday items on it. Not sure if checkout 51 is available in the U.S. But it's basically the same thing. :)

My tip is, if you're in California, don't even try. Haha. We don't get any of the special promotions, the two for's, the double coupon days. We can't stack coupons unless specifically stated. It's a huge pain. I mean use a coupon if you have it, but you're never going to be an extreme couponer in CA.

I know that here, we get coupons in our newspaper, and a few times a week we get junk ads that have coupons in them. There are also the online coupons. There's a coupon website but I can't remember the name for it.....maybe some other girl can lol
