can you still breastfeed while pregnant again?

Hi everyone's I am a mom of a 14 months old, and still breastfeeding,my partner and I have been planing for a second babies and i am just wondering if anyone of you breastfeeding while being pregnant? And how does that's feel and if there  anything I should be concern?

Yes you can breastfeed through pregnancy, and if you really want you can even tandem feed both the new baby and your toddler after the baby is born. My daughter is 15 months and I am 15 weeks pregnant and we are still breastfeeding.

You have to be diligent about staying hydrated and eating well because you're sustaining three people, but otherwise there aren't any risks involved in continuing as long as you're both willing. Prenatal vitamins will really be important.

One thing to keep in mind is that your milk supply will most likely drop at some point during your pregnancy due to hormonal changes. Also as your body starts producing colostrum for the new baby, your milk's flavour will also change. Both of these things may cause your toddler to self wean, though not always (some are more persistent than others).

Other than that, it's about personal preference. Keep going as long as you want and don't worry!

Absolutely! I even talked to my doctor about it, although now I plan to wean my daughter since she'll be 2 next month. However, I initially planned on having another baby a lot sooner and I planned to breastfeed through my pregnancy as well as tandem feed when the newborn arrived!
