First ultrasound?

When did you all get your first ultrasound. My army provider said the soonest they schedule the first one is 13 weeks! That seems really late to me!

It depends where you are in the world. Everyone does it different. In uk it's standard to have a dating scan around 12 weeks and an anomaly scan at 20 weeks.

Update- my doctor called and said he staff was wrong. She wants a dating scan between 6-8 weeks. Which sea MUCH more feasible and exciting lol!

I just had my first at 9w3d but I had to wait because the military messed up my referral. We have to go off post for prenatal/delivery.

I waited until I was after 8 weeks coz I had a mc at 6 weeks 5 days a few months before. Then found out I was really 9 weeks
