Stitches after delivery?

How do dissolvable stitches look? I see stitches on both sides of the hole going all around it and i thought a tear would only go like up and down? She said I tore up but why are stitches close to both sides of my labia.. also are they supposed to look like white rope? 😐 they look like little worms hanging out of my coochi. And I see like 2 lumps. My vagina will never be the same. 😓
