I need some advice

Conceived almost 6 years ago but had the abortion pill (medical abortion). My fertility specialist wanted me to have a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy to check for scarring and the make sure my tube is where it needs to be. No from my understanding and talking to a few doctors a medical abortion can't cause scarring unless you had an infection or something afterwards. The nurse at my doctors office said "don't do the surgery". If I don't conceive this cycle should I do the surgery to make sure there is no scarring and the tube is in the correct spot? I had an HSG and everything was completely normal. I have never even broken a bone and tobhave surgery based on nothing or a "guess" really scares me.
