Im one of them ! My birth gave me up when I was 6 weeks old my birth mother lefted me in a child care never picked me up no one knew were I was, I stayed with foster family for 1 year in that time my adopted mum who is my father sister was fight custody for me and ever since she is the only person I know she my mum and dad just love her so much for what she has done. To my real ones who gave birth to me don't care about she lefted me for another man and father said I want a DNA I was 95% his and he asked where was the other 5% like really wtf.

So I'm adopted into my own family ❤️

I met my biological parents, and have no connection with my biological mother. I have no idea where she lives.

I've met my dad and his new family- but he clearly has different priorities, and rarely, if at all does he or his wife include me, my SO, or even his granddaughter in family events.

I am. I was born and raised in Brazil. I lived with my biological parents until I was 7 years old. My dad passed away when I was 4 so my mother put me in an orphanage when I was 7. I still visited with her until she was killed when I was 12 years old. I was then adopted at the age of 14 and brought to the US. My adoption didn't work out as planned so I left home at 18 years old and have been on my own ever since. I have 4 other girls here in the USA that came from the same orphanage as me so we try to keep in touch..

I was never officially adopted but my grandma raised me.  I have nothing to do with my birth mom.  She's a waste of a human being.  My dad was always involved in my life but was killed when I was 14.

I gave my son up for adoption. I got pregnant at 18, from a guy who quickly decided he was not ready to be a parent. I tried to make things work, but when I was 7 months pregnant, I knew I wasn't going to be able to give my son the life I wanted him to have, so I contacted an adoption agency. I ended up picking a wonderful couple that wanted to have a baby so badly. They were so excited to be parents. It is an open adoption, and I have tried my best to stay in contact with my son. He was diagnosed with Aspergers when he was 4, and one of the specialists the adoptive mother took my son to mentioned the possibility of fetal alcohol syndrome.  I never drank or did any drugs when I was pregnant. I was planning to keep my son. It breaks my heart that she's cut off contact because she's mad at me. I'm terrified my son will grow up thinking I didn't love him or want him.

I'm not, but my mum was adopted. I love my grandparents dearly. She wanted to learn who her bio parents were and met her bio mum. In the end that didn't pan out great, but she was glad to know where she came from.
