I had a sweep in Tuesday afternoon at 39 weeks, 1 day to try and get labor to progress before we have to schedule an induction! At that appt, I was 2 cm dilated and about 80% effaced. I've had some light bleeding (which I've read is fairly normal) since then but I did just lose my mucus plug. Have any other ladies had any luck with this sequence of events? FTM here...I know that losing your plug doesn't necessarily mean labor is impending but I didn't know if there were slightly better odds after a membrane sweep. TIA!
