Is it strange to call a baby Summer when she will be born in October?

My oldest is autumn and we were considering summer for our October 18th baby if it's a girl but decided on Adeline instead 

Not weird at all, my child hood friend was named that but spelled it SOMER. She was born in early May. 

My friend's daughter is named Summer & her birthday is in January. 

We were gonna name our daughter summar rose didn't even think about the season. I say go for it
