Being single?

I haven't been single for 3 years and I'm almost 20. I really like my guy but, sometimes I want to have the space and be single for awhile? Anybody else?

I'm almost 20 and have been with my man for the past 3.5 years. Maybe its because he joined the military a year ago so we had to spend many months apart, but I have never wanted to take a break. Neither of us even like "me time" lol, we both constantly want to be around each other. If you feel that way, you should talk to your boyfriend about it. I don't think wanting to be indepedent or wanting to have alone time is a bad thing, but when you want to be single again, I think that warrants a serious discussion with him. Good luck, and I hope it works out.

I did this same thing at 20. I had been in a 4 year relationship and pretty immediately a 3 year one. I chose to break it off, which was a huge risk bc he was so great and we were so great together... long story short it sucked at the time but I'm so glad I did. I got to experiment and do the single thing. Only drawback is I would still be friends with him but I broke his heart and never forgave me.

I have been with my boyfriend for the last three years and I am 20. There is a day here and there where I like being totally independent, but I couldn't imagine my life without him. If you feel like this a lot, you owe it to your boyfriend to talk to him. Talking about it might help you identify why you feel this way.
