Dont worry all babies are different they start things when they are ready soon your baby's going to be eating solids so just see it as extra special bonding time as long as their healthy and gaining weight your fine

It's all about preference. Most people feed their baby baby food by 6 months. We did with my first baby, but our second baby couldn't. He would puke. So I nurses him up until he was 8 months and then introduced baby food again. We stopped nursing at 12 months.

we began to wean our daughter at 3 months with porridge because milk just wasn't filling her enough.
try using porridge first (our lo hated baby rice)& then after when you feel baby is ready move on to purées and things.
that's all i did.😊

Don't feel embarrassed. I started my daughter at 4 months on and off solids. She's 10 months now and she eats a bit more solid now but milk is def her main meal. Food before 1 is really just for fun. They don't really get any nutritional  value in it.
