Due September 4 & I can't decide if I want to buy summer/shorts/short sleeves or if I should buy winter stuff?!?!

I'm due in September too. I mostly got fall and winter. I figure in the first month or so, he will be in onesies a lot. You can always layer with those too!

I'm planning on buying short sleeve onsies, and then lighter cotton jackets. That way if baby starts to get too warm just take jacket off instead of changing entire outfit. 
This is just from experience. My son was born in April a couple years ago and it was still pretty chilly.

My daughters birthday is sept 19th.  When she was born I put her in a lot of bamboo sleepers they were soft and lightweight. I didn't worry about her over heating or getting too much sun. On cooler days I layered on a white under onesie. I had a few special outfits but she grew too fast for any serious wardrobe considerations

I've seriously had the hardest time deciding because it's right around the time the temperatures could really vary... it could either be really hot or start getting chilly. & I don't want him to outgrow a bunch of it and then waste all that money on clothes! 🤣🙄

I'm going to get a mixture. I live in Ohio so it can be cold one day and hot the next or cold at night and warm during the day.
