Did you vaccinate?

Question

For those who did, what was the worst side effect you experienced? 
I'm having my first child and I'm on the fence.

This is not to fight with anyone. Please just comment your experience.

I vaccinate my son, on schedule. The worst side effect he's ever experienced was with the first round of shots. He seemed a little uncomfortable and was a little warm. I gave him the correct dosage of medicine and he was back to himself by morning.

Since then, the worst side effect was just the initial sting of the needle. As soon  as the nurse left, a quick cuddle session and he was right as rain. We're all caught up with our shots until school time.

We chose to vaccinate because of the risk of not only my son contracting an illness, but possibly spreading an illness to a child/baby that can't medically receive vaccines. Personally, I think the reason many of us are unsure of vaccinations, is because we do not frequently see disease like Polio on a daily basis. And the reason we don't see disease like that=vaccines. It's a practice that began in 1796,  and since has only become better at keeping these illnesses from starting an outbreak.

My baby had a tiny bit of soreness for a day after her first two sets, but nothing that a little Tylenol didn't help. I gave her a dose of Tylenol 30 minutes before her last set, and she didn't even cry, nor was she fussy afterward. She did get a cold after her last set, but my whole family had been sick, so I think it's just a coincidence. Otherwise, she had no side effects at all.

I don't have my child yet, but I was vaccinated when I was a baby & growing up & I almost always got sick from it. High fever, throwing up, pretty much a regular flu for the night but it was always right after I got any vaccine. But by morning I felt perfectly fine, so we continued vaccinating me. But it was required for school when I was a kid, so we didn't really have a choice. Once I had a choice, I haven't gotten vaccinated for anything. But I'll probably vaccinate my son

I have a 3 y/o and he's had all of his vaccinations. No side effects thus far.

My son is six he gets vaccinated, never had any side affects. When he was really small he wouldn't cry while they have the vaccines he would wait til the doctor looked at him then decided he wanted to scream lol then he would just eat and go to sleep.

I haven't had kids but I was vaccinated fully, as was all my younger siblings. The only side effect I ever saw was a slight fever from something, but it went away and nothing else was an issue.

None at all. She would cry and then be fine. Back to her normal self in minutes. Every time.

My baby's 2 months she's had 5 shots, the worst part is her little face & cries when she gets them, it makes me so sad to see her so upset but it's for her health and she won't remember when she's older, the last round of shots she also got a live rotavirus liquid in her mouth, which caused her to get a fever while she fought it off, but Tylenol took that away quick and she wasn't cranky or anything her normal happy self

Worst side effect? She's three months and the worst side effect has only been her crying for about a minute after getting the shots. I cuddle her and let her nurse and she calms back down.

No serious side effects - just being concomfortae from the shots when she was under a year and nothing after a year old.
