Giant Head Baby?

I just had an ultrasound at 30 weeks. They said baby is healthy and her brain looks good, but they also said her head is in the 99th percentile!!!!!! The rest of her is only in the 64th percentile. Has anyone else had this happen? Do they grow into their heads?

I had my 30 week scan a few days ago and they said all his body parts are right on track with growing except his head.... his head is 2 weeks ahead!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I wasn't given percentages, but I just had my 20 week ultrasound, and my sons head looks huge too. Lol. My husband looked like he had a huge noggin when he was a baby/toddler too. I'm afraid I'm going to give birth to a bowling ball. 😩😂

Let me comfort you and say they said the same to me. Being high risk, I was monitored bi-weekly w/4d ultrasounds and measurements. My daughter scanned in the 99th percentile as well and docs also prepared me she would be 10-12 lbs at surgery date of planned c-section at 38 weeks, 0 days. Its JUST an estimate. She was born 8 lbs 6oz and did not have a big head. Don't let them scare you, trust me. Congrats mama!

To add to my previous statement, this is Emma last week at 29 weeks old (aka almost 7 months). She just went to the doctor a checkup and weighs 19 lbs, 86% in weight, 88% in height, and head at only 36%, lol.

My daughters head was in the 95th percentile when she was born and up until 2 yrs. Her body weight was in the 20th. She's still a skinny  little thing but she doesn't look disproportionate at all. I think they grow into their heads. 👌🏻
