anyone live on Camp Pendleton?

Question

So my fiancé is based there and we'll be in base housing once we're married but I got some questions!
1: how long did it take to get your house?
2: are they nice or kinda outdated and dumpy?
3: is your address a CA address or is it an APO? I lived on an air base and it was APO, but it was in Japan so I don't know if that's how it is on all bases or just overseas

I'm not sure about the base itself, but the area around it is really nice. I love Carlsbad. And the beach is beautiful down there. I grew up near San Clemente.

Google Camp Pendleton housing and it should bring you to Lincoln military housing and they have pictures of what the different communities look like. Also once you're put on the wait list for housing they'll tell you how long you're looking at
