Coffee and soda during pregnancy?

What are your thoughts on coffee during pregnancy? What about soda? I keep reading that it's fine in moderation, like one a day, but what do you guys think? I crave the taste of coffee!

My best friend drank soda and coffee 24/7 during both pregnancies, the kids are now 10 and 7 and are the smartest and sweetest kids.   Too many myths nowadays...

I'm sucking down a medium iced coffee right now and I've never felt better. I did avoid it in the first two trimesters because of everything I read. But honestly, you will be fine.

My OB said she would drink soda to settle her stomach. I was suffering through the first trimester and trying to avoid it because everyone says not to. After she said it was okay and she did it, I started to drink soda to settle my stomach and it was amazing. Just less than 200mg/day of caffeine like everyone said. On days I need caffeine or feel sick ill drink one of those tiny cans of soda and that's it.

I can't stomach soda now that I'm pregnant. I've been craving coffee but I've just been avoiding it because I never liked coffee before my pregnancy.  But one a day or every once in awhile should be fine. Honestly I know a few ladies who constantly had 20 oz Mountain Dews in their hand their whole pregnancy and their babies are fine.

I regularly had more than 200mg of caffeine a day. My 8 week old is perfect. There's no universal right answer.

I drank everyday and an writing this as I nurse my almost 7 month old. Don't overdo it. But caffeine isn't bad in moderation

I had about 2 cups a week of coffee while I was pregnant. My baby was fine. Moderation is the key.
