Is it wrong to be falling for your best friend which has been in a long term relationship?

My best friend has been dating this girl for 2 years and I'm falling for him. He's an amazing guys and I respect his relationship but i still can't stop falling for him.

It's no wrong at all. Inconvenient maybe but not wrong. I've developed crushes on lots of people who are in relationships and it sucks but someday it might workout. Just sit back and see but NEVER purposefully try and break up the two. You'll only end up hurting him instead of being the one to comfort him

That happened to me with the guy I'm with now over a year. No breaks or anything really bad in between maybe it will happen for you.. It was really hard when I first started to have feelings for him and I thought he would be with her for a long time but eventually she messed up and he said that he realized I was the perfect one for him because we were insanely close as best friends and knew everything about eachother and did everything together. So yeah sometimes life tosses something amazing at you. I didn't even need to tell him I liked him he came for me ♡ just wait and see maybe they'll realize you're the perfect one for them

Not at all, my boyfriend was with this girl when I first met him, and I was with someone but we kept talking all the time, within 3 years he literally become my best friend and in that time broke up with his girlfriend, I was still with my ex then, we met up and hung out a lot, he was always there for me when my ex treated me like crap, safe to say I fell in love but didn't do anything as didn't want to mess friendship up, one day we were out and he kissed me, broke up with my ex the following day and me and him have been together ever since (2years ago) he's my best friend and I love him to bits!!!

It's not wrong at all and every situation is different but I have been in one very similar to that and it is a rocky road to go down. The friend that I loved was and is my best friend. He doesn't let people in so the fact that he allowed me to get so close to him, made our relationship all the more special. However, as my feelings grew, it caused tension and arguments and jealousy between me and his girlfriend. It was messy situation that I managed to get out of without getting too hurt. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you choose to do though!
