Unemotional boyfriend

I am a very emotional person.. and when I talk about my feelings I usually have the same feedback.. well with my boyfriend I get nothing. What should I do? Iv already talked to him about this and he said he would try to change but nothings happened... I really do love him. But this whole not being emotional with me is making me feel lonely. What should I do?
