ectopic????

Question

So I went to the hospital last night because I had abdominal pain. So after hours of being there, they told me that they couldn't determine my baby location and I might be having an ectopic pregnancy and that my pregnancy is at a 80%-90%. So I will have to schedule an appointment with my OB a lot sooner than the 9th of May. I'm still having sharp pain on my right side. I'm so scared. Pray for us.

How far along are you? Don't worry too much because the same shit happened to me and I was pissed. Went to the er for right side pain and the stupid doctor said it was probably ectopic and had me and my SO all upset. Then we had an appt with my doctor and he told us that the hospital doesn't know what they are talking about basically because it was way too soon to tell. I was almost 4 weeks. Got a ultrasound at 5 weeks and everything was fine and turned out it was a cyst. Now I'm almost 13 weeks. Safe to say I will never go to that er ever again lol.

They didnt do a u/s???? Wtf. An undiagnosed ectopic could a minimum cause damage to your tube and at maximum kill you from a ruptured tube. If they are suspecting ectopic they should have done a u/s right away because if it is in your tube or anywhere besides your uterus it is dangerous! Go to the ER. do not wait.

If you are at an early stage the baby might not be seen. Hope everything goes well.

When I had the ectopic I didn't  even get an ultrasound they just did a blood/urine pregnancy test when it came out to postive they rushed me in to the OR and opened me up I lost almost 2 liters of blood they said I should have died and was very blessed
