DH is freaking out?

I'm only 5w4d and DH is already panicking about me attending a wedding on August 1st. (I'm due 10/30.) The wedding is only a 2 hour drive and I'll be staying with my parents. Anyone else think this is too much? I'm sure I'll be uncomfortable by that point but I really hate the idea of being trapped. Anyone else feel like they have an overprotective husband?!

This is our first baby...so yup! I'm sure he's be calmer the next time around but anything I can do to help him calm down now? I'm planning on asking our obgyn about travel restrictions with him present, hoping that might help him...

I'm assuming this is your first? I ask because my husband was like that through my whole first pregnancy with our daughter. He's eased up this time around. I'm due 10/29 and we have a beach trip planned for the first week of September, 7 hours alway from home
