Best Friends? Right.

Hey guys, so a few weeks ago, there was a family emergency and one of my friends was with me and helped a lot while I was going through a rough time. The girl is kind of a "tom boy" and hangs out with the guys. At the time, I was dating this guy and she hung out in his friend group. Well, about a week or two after the family emergency situation, I broke up with him because I just lost feelings. Don't get me wrong, he was the sweetest boy I've ever met, and the best boyfriend I'd ever had. Anyway, I found out later that he told everyone he broke up with me, and that he never liked me. But I have screenshots where he was begging me to not break up with him. Then that Thursday, at a school dance, I found out my "friend" has liked him for a long time but she wasn't going to "go for him because she didn't want him to get called a hoe." I've been super salty. There's been a lot of drama and apparently she told him that she didn't like him anymore, but now she does. I'm confused.
