Are pee-pee teepee's worth it?

So I'm having a boy and was wondering if it would be worth it to purchase pee pee teepee's is it worth it or is it just a gimmicky product? What are your guys thoughts, please comment bellow.

My aunt told me getting peed on is good luck. Sooner or later you'll develop reflexes to avoid getting peed on.

I had a little brother. Totally gimicky. If you use a wipe you're covered. I've heard the peepee teepees can be basically like shot off.

Also if you are changing just a wet diaper just make sure to cover their business before removing the old one. Lol it will save you I promise. I'm on my 3rd baby boy, due July 30th.

They are gimmicky. Just use a wash cloth or the clean diaper and it'll keep you from getting peed on. 👍🏻

We got one for our twins bc for the first 3-4 months it seemed they caught themselves or whoever changed their diapers, no matter how quick we were. They don't stay on, one kick or twist and it's off. Plus you have to wash that too. I say it's a waste.

I used the plain old Gerber cloth diapers which I also used for burp cloths. Or would just place a new diaper over him while changing.

My son is two and he has only peer on me once. I quickly grabbed the open diaper I had ready for him and covered him up. I also just try to change him as quick and efficiently as possible just in case.
