Waist Trainers

So I've been thinking about getting a waist trainer to help slim my midsection down and for a nice hourglass shape. And not just occasional shaping wear, but for "permanent" changes and hold. I've done the research. But I want to know if anyone has tried one? Had any success with it? I'd love to hear all feedback and even pictures if you want to share!
