how soon did you announce to your family?

This is my second pregnancy and I am at 5 weeks. I just told our parents from both sides and siblings. I don't plan to make Facebook official announcement

I'm 7w1d and pretty much everyone important knows. It's my SO's first so he's too excited to keep a secret. But I, personally, ignore the "safe zone". Loss can happen to anyone at any time. If something were to happen, I'd rather have celebrated my baby's short life with others than kept him/her a secret the whole time. Just my opinion.

I announced To my family and my husbands family at 5 weeks. I didn't announce on social media till 13 weeks.

I did 16 weeks. But it is up to you. I say wait tell the second trimester which is 14 weeks.

We told my SO family at 6 1-2 weeks I told my family at 7 weeks and we announced to Facebook at 9 weeks after first us. I kinda regret it because my baby ended up being severely sick with something that is genetic in my family finding out at 14 weeks so we had to terminate the pregnancy....and I just feel stupid for showing being so excited we were finally pregnant and then just having to give it all up losing my boy. Next time I'm going to wait until the scan at 14 weeks to make sure nothing is wrong before we announce.

I told my parents when I was 7 weeks and it was confirmed by the Dr but my mom knew before I did that I was pregnant. We told my Nana when I was around 12 weeks and my papa was told shortly before his passing. Now my friends and family as well as my SO family did not find out until 20 weeks when we announced the gender.

We told our parents and my sister at 6wks3days after our first ultrasound. My dad is a doctor so I wanted to have his expertise and a support system. We are now 8wks and plan to tell everyone around 10-12 wks after our first doctor appointment.
