Ok so today I go to a specialist for a growth scan. My baby is small so I have them weekly to keep track. Well if she is under a certain percentile they will schedual a c section this week. If not it will be next week. I am 38w this week, will be 39 next. She is breech and wont flip on her own, and we dont wanna risk stressing her out trying to turn her. So my question is how does an early csection work? To my knowlege i have not thinned out any or dialated and as far as i know i still have my mucus plug. What will they do and how does this thing work? Do i get induced first or will they just roll me in and slice me open? Also how long will i be in the hospital? And will they automatically take my baby to nicu or will i be able to keep her with me if she is alright? I am a ftm.
