Chemical vs. Miscarriage?

Can anybody clear this up? I see a lot of different opinions here and even when searching online. I thought a chemical was only when you got period early or on time. Anything after that is miscarriage. At what point is a chemical considered a miscarriage? TIA!

A chemical pregnancy and a miscarriage is the same thing. Chemical pregnancy is still a miscarriage. I had an early chemical pregnancy and the doctor consider it as a miscarriage as well. I was very early too.

I think there are lots of different opinions. My understanding is that a checmical pregnancy is one that is not able to be confirmed by u/s because it is too early or hcg is too low (<1500). While miscarriage is anything that is u/s confirmed and up to 20 weeks....
