Confusion. Please help

My AF was due May 24th 2014. Which it came on the day it was due. My AF usually lasts 4-5 days. I have never gotten cramps and my period has always been a heavier flow (sorry if this is TMI). My AF was not normal this month at all. I cramped throughout the whole day before on the 23rd and also on the 24th. Then it stopped completely within 24 hours. Leaving me to only have a day AF that wasn't as heavy as usual.(sorry once again if that's TMI) has this happened to anyone before? Someone please give me some answers.
