Healthy eating ??

Rebecca • Mommy to a beautiful baby girl born October 24,2017 💗
Hey everyone so my whole life I basically sucked at eating healthy. Mainly because my family never ate healthy and obviously I ate whatever was there for food.. well since becoming pregnant I've been trying to eat healthy and plan on starting to exercise every day soon (I didn't want to exercise my first trimester since baby is like most delicate at that stage). I just want to know what you guys use to be sure you stay on a healthy diet? This can include meal plans (if this option, mention which ones), YouTube/google recipes, etc. I just want to maintain a good weight and not gain more than needed during my pregnancy and also just want to keep my baby and myself as healthy as possible and give both baby and I the correct or good amount of nutrients possible. Thank you 💗

I was the same. I just made up my mind that I have to eat better for the sake of my baby like it's not about me anymore. I eat things that I like every once in a while but for the most part I stick to certain fish, spinach, grilled chicken cutlets, beans, tasty salads, granola, cereal, lots of fruit...water water water and sparkling water, just mix it up and the great thing is you can eat as much veggies as you want without worrying about eating "too much" occasionally I'll have a cheeseburger (like today lol) and a snack every time I want something sweet, but you will be okay just think about the growth of your child and what you would actually feed them if they were here, you wouldn't give them a bunch of junk so yeah that's how I see it... it's not gonna be easy but it'll make your heart feel happy that you're feeding your baby healthy things, also on YouTube there's a girl called Edyn Jacks and she's a vegan (I'm not a vegan) but she's always eating some tasty looking things, but besides her I'm sure there's a bunch of ppl you can find on YouTube, I'm 5 months and I only gained 7 pounds so far so to me I've been doing fairly well.Good luck 😊

Make sure you start exercise VERY slowly. You're not really supposed to start when you're already pregnant so don't push yourself. Start with gentle walking, prenatal yoga, etc.
