when did you get your period after giving birth?

FTM here. When did you get your period after giving birth? How was it? Was it painful? How long did it last? Was anything different at all? Did it mess with your milk supply? Info please thanks.

I'll be exactly 8 weeks po tomorrow and still haven't gotten it. Thank God for small favors (with my luck it'll start today 😩)

I haven't yet got mine and was wondering when she would show her face 😨 I had alot of discharge lately so maybe she is coming soon.. we had unprotected sex so a tad worried but I am sure after trying for 6 years for our little one we wouldn't get that lucky lol

8 weeks pp. It seems very similar to my former periods. I breastfeed and formula feed.

8 wks pp, EBF still no period. I did lose a lot of blood during birth and bled for quite awhile after, I think like right up to my 6 wks check up. I've heard of people not getting it until they stopped BF for good. Wouldn't that be nice.

I'm almost 6weeks pp and I think mine just started. I have mild cramps and it's kind of heavy. Not like my normal period but heavier than the spotting I had a few weeks ago. And I haven't noticed any difference in my milk supply. If anything, it seems like I'm producing more.

I got mine at 5wks pp. it was absolutely horrendous. I ended up going to my doctor because the clots were HUGE. I ended up wearing depends. 😓. It lasted a week.

With my first, I got it at week 5 pp. I thought that it was the return of lochia but the flow and feeling was like my regular period and lasted 5 days like my period. After that, i didn't get a period for 8 months (I was breastfeeding and pumping at work). It came back when I stopped pumping but I was still breastfeeding. I stopped having cramps once I had my son.

No period yet this time, I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and EBF.

With my 1st I got my period around 4 months pp. It actually was less painful and shorter but it was like a murder scene I bled through tampons in a few hr. I breat fed her for 5 months. I stopped breast feeding my son at 1 month. He's 7.5wks and I still haven't got my period yet.
