Anyone else?

Every time I breastfeed my daughter she falls asleep and takes herself off the nipple and when I put her down she starts crying. then I put her on again and she starts sucking away sometimes she will fight to get the nipple in . she will throw a fit as well. hope I'm not confusing anyone. And that you know what I'm trying to say... :C

It's very soothing to her to be at your breast, try to rub her in different spots to keep her awake! She just feels so warm and cozy she's forgetting to eat and drifting to dreamland 😍

And maybe even though she's full, she loves the comfort. :)

My friend is going through this.  Try softly 'pinching' (not to hurt... I was told rubbing is too comforting, but the touching or 'pinching' of the upper arm or thigh would wake my son up by my lactation consultant), take off her onsie when feeding, try not to rock or pat her back until for sure she is finished.
 
Maybe switch her from breast to breast more often before she drifts to sleep?
