Pregnancy Announcement
My husband and I will officially be announcing one pregnant after our first ultrasound on May 15th.
My mom will be the first to know, then my husbands parents and then the rest of family and friends . I originally wanted to send our announcement cards to others , after we announced to our parents, but I know that before I'll even get to the post office to send them out , the word will spread.
My idea is to get some balloons, a blanket , some neutral colored booties and have the ultra sound pic in a frame near it. I want to take a picture of the set up and text those who I wanted to announce to (my husband will probably tell all of his friends in person ), but I wanted to send the announcement to family members that don't live near and friends .
Is this tacky or no ? If I went the announcement card route , it would be more time consuming also . We are so excited to let everyone know !
