baby's weight?

Girls I see loads of you knowing how much baby roughly weighs. How do you get this?xx

Usually by a growth scan which really are only done if you're high risk or measuring really small. So I don't think everyone really gets those. However you might at your anatomy scan because I know I did then too. It is not listed on your ultrasound pics or the screen when looking at your baby either though.

The info is displayed at the top of the dashboard based on Gestational age averages, or you can get a better estimate of your baby at ultrasounds.

This is only a guess though ladies.  My son was measured at almost 8lb on his scan 3 days before my delivery.  My son was born weighing a good 9lb 8.8oz.
 
Some doctors measure up and others down.  But like dating, they can only guess so much via ultrasound.

The tech or my OB tells me from my ultrasound.  The gestational age definitely does not apply to my boys because when they were supposed to be weighing in at 1.1lbs, they were both almost 2lbs.

But agree with other poster, gestational age can give you a rough estimate.
