Is the age difference weird?

I am 18 and my girlfriend is 25, but we don't like like that different. I look 22 to almost everyone And she looks 21 and she's a bit immature for 25 and I am vey mature for 18, so does it matter? Because we met what I was 17, and a month after being 18 we stared dating... is it weird or wrong?

The age/looks of age doesn't matter. Your legal so you can date someone of any age you want. What matters is the maturity level. In my opinion. If you can handle her being immature for her age then good for you. You guys can work it out. Personally I couldn't handle someone that's immature especially when their older than me.

When I was 18 I dated a 25 year old. My parents were a bit skeptical at first with the age thing. They were mainly just worried about us being in different stages of life and having different priorities. To be honest, that definitely turned into an issue for us, but he was a jerk anyway. Not everyone have that issue though with age differences. I'm 27 now and my husband is 31. Same difference.

I'm 26 and my sister is 17 and her and all her friends are babies to me. If you're comfortable with your girlfriend seeing you as a child and still dating you....that would make me think differently of her for sure. Why can't she date someone in her own life experience group? 😒 17 and 18 look like baaaaaabies no joke it's so crazy how that happens as you get older. You get it, you're 18, when you look at middle schoolers what do they look like? Like little babies right??? It's crazy! They think they're so grown and you FEEL so grown at the time but all it takes is five years later and you see what a baby you were. That's what makes large age gap relationships weird to me.
