Just found out my SO has zero sperm 😭

My SO and I have been TTC for a year now with no success. So he went to our local clinic and got tested as well as I did by my doctor. I'm fine but I just got a call yesterday that my husband's sample had no sperm...ZERO SPERM?!? What does that mean? We have been referred to see a urologist and are trying to make the appointment asap. But I'm so scared. I've wanted to be a mom as long as I can remember. What if this means he is sterile? I was so in shock I just broke down crying when he got home from work. And I can't help but feel sad. I know he is feeling horrible too. I know this is just the beginning to find out our options. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do and what was the outcome?
