Breast cancer
My mom recently got diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She went in to get a physical for life insurance, and had an abnormal lump. She had surgery to get the lumps removed. She had the beginning stage in her nipple, stage 2 in the duct and stage 2 outside of the duct by the lymph nodes. They also found a bunch of black "molecules" that are to small to test.
I've been doing a lot of research to try to understand this. She starts chemo the middle of this month. My parents are a wreck, due to this being completely unexpected. They are leaning a lot on me. I have 2 kids, one 4 and one 2 months. I'm also about to be attending medical school.
Any others been through this? Any advice? How can I be more supportive?
Thanks everyone!
